Trapt comes blasting back with the release of their first Live album. The album features a short, but pretty good concert
plus the addition of 2 new songs. Every “Live” album I have heard normally starts with the concert and adds the
new stuff at the end. Trapt does just the opposite. The album kicks off with the new stuff, which should hold over the fans
or make them even hungrier for the entire album, and then the show kicks off with track 3. The live stuff doesn’t last
very long, but most of the songs are very good. It reminded me when I seen them open for Shinedown one year, although I don’t
remember Chris cussing so much at that show.
The album is okay, but it’s not long enough for me. It is something that you can pop in and remember that time
you seen them. Still Frame, Stand-up, Echo, Disconnected and Head-Strong are some of my favorite songs and its great to here
them in this form. With that said though, the 2 new songs are the albums strength. This is a great way to get songs out in
the world and get fans a taste of the new stuff. Overall is okay, its something that fans would enjoy, but others would have
to listen to the studio albums first to get into them enough to buy it.
