The Crash Motive (formerly Omnisoul) hits the rock scene
once again. This latest installment from the band hits points that many try to and fail. The 5-man band from Delaware
should make national news for their effort on this album. While getting a lot of local air play and a spot on Madden 2007
football game, they will become an almost everyday name. “Consequences,” the name of the album, features an amazing
range of vocals and a stellar musical performance. “Not Giving Up” the first track on the album (featured on Madden
’07) starts the CD off with an explosion of energy mixed with great vocals. It really gets the listener into the CD
right off the bat. “Waiting (Save your Life)” will be a smash hit on the radio with its easy listening, vocal
detailed single. One of the best of the album “Things That Could Be Said” is a lyrical masterpiece. This song
will touch your soul and will make you sign along even if you don’t realize your doing it. One of my personal favorites
“Home to Home” is a rather lengthy track, but the guitar and boards are simply some of the best I’ve heard
when mixed together. Overall this is a pretty solid album and should get national attention, but they shouldn’t get
too excited about it. Although it is pretty solid they have many more steps to become elite in the genre. This album is something
to build on and make strides. Be prepared to see them on big tours in the coming years.
