Sum 41’s new album “Underclass Hero” has hits stores and hit hard. They as “Underclass Heros”
have given the big bands a warning with this album and the warning is: Move over and make us room up top or suffer a big “Fat
Lip!” In this album they give a new meaning to a mosh pit song, in fact almost this whole entire album is one big mosh
pitting song.
The album opens up
with the title track “Underclass Hero.” It’s a basic remake of “Fat
Lip,” which I usually frown upon, but this time I don’t. It sets the stage for the rest of the album. The second
track “Walking Disaster” follows in Underclass Hero’s footsteps. It’s a killer tune with great vocals
and even cooler music. “Speak of the Devil,” the third song has a unquine feature. The vocals give a sense of
a slower track, but the music gives a sense of a fast, upbeat punk song. The seventh song, “March of the Dogs,”
is a solid song, with single material. “The Jester,” is a musically explosion with its hard and heavy sound. The
vocals are hard to hear, but at a show….who fucking cares!!! Mosh Pitting Time!!!!!!!
Overall this
is a really good album. There are some filler songs, but for the most part you’ll listen to every song on the album.
They also have put a few fun songs on the album that are very cool….can anyone speak French? Anyways, if you have a
system in your car you will be very pleased with this album. Just put it in, turn it on and crank it up…ENJOY!!!
