The second installment for Submersed on Windup Records is an album that surely can’t be called a sophomore slump.
This album is chalked full of hard hitting, head banging hits. The lead single “Better Think Again” is one of
the best songs of the year. “Immortal Verses,” will be a smash hit
with old and new fans of the band. The album starts off with the first single “Better Think Again.” It is truly
a genius move putting it first, as it gets the blood flowing for the rest of the album. The second track on the album “Price
of Fame,” is a slower track with a lot of power and soul to it. The character washing “Over Now” is dominating
track that you can’t help but listen too. It should be an amazing concert song; the vocals are just too damn incredible
not to be. “At First Sight,” is a well put together song, with multiple layers; layers of music, vocals and meaning.
Its deep meaning can hit home with listeners and stick like glue and feathers. Overall this is a solid album that can contend
on a national base. Although it is evident that the band has grown immensely, I think they need to grow just a bit more. The
sound that they create is true to them selves and that’s what making music should really mean. Everything comes from
their hearts and their god given talent. They have gotten better and I myself can’t wait for that third album. Lets
hope that its not too many years away that we have forgotten how much progress they have made….. One note that I normally
don’t do but, since how much this album moved me, keep it up guys!!!!!
