Strata
The Wedge

Strata was a very intriguing up and coming band at this show. Their show
started off slow, but ended pretty good. Their debut album has yet to hit stores, so it was hard to follow them as you didn’t
know hardly any of the songs. Like I said it started off slow. I didn’t know what to expect. After about 2 or 3 songs
something changed. It seems like they were more comfortable and opened up. Eric the lead singer jumped down off the stage
and started walking on the bar. Yes, I said bar, there is a band in front of the stage at The Wedge. At that moment the show
started to get better. The lighting of the show was one of the best parts. Another great part was the guitar. There were sounds
coming out of it that I’ve never heard before. The show was pretty decent, but could be better. Stopping the slow starts
is something they need to work on, but at the same time having an album out and under their belts would fix most of that.
In time, they can be a great second band at a show.
