Coming back for an impressive seventh studio album, Seven Mary Three’s new album hit stores late February of 2008. With the success of their tremendous track “Cumbersome” 7M3 went platinum with their next album “American Standard” and they hope that this album drives to that level as well. The album begins with the lead single “Last Kiss.” The track is a simple yet appealing track. Listeners should be able to embrace the song and get into the mood 7M3 is getting into. “Laughing Out Loud” is another simple track. It gives a perfect opportunity to hear almost every word that Jason sings. “Was a Ghost” is a more upbeat track with a rock edge to it. “Break the Spell” displays some great drums in the beginning and the vocals are also very clear. It’s really easy to get into and would be a perfect “lighter” song at a concert.  “She Wants Results” is a soft coffee shop sounding track. A simple yet elegant sound. “Things I Stole” closes the album in a unique way. The track is a very simple track. Its just Jason and an acoustic guitar. Overall this not my cup of tea. There a few standout tracks to me, but to others they all could be. There is a chance they get a lot of air-play, but if not fans will probably be the only ones to buy this album. It will be hard for new music fans to find this album with all the others coming out too.
