Since their debt in 2001, Pillar has been sitting atop a pillar in the Christian Rock world. With seven national tours under their belts they just announced their eighth. It kicks off a couple weeks after they release their forth studio album. “The Reckoning” hits stores October 3rd.

The album is a hard blast of sound hitting your ears. With the electrifying riffs, and the amazing drums its hard not to find yourself head banging. There are sounds that they have added that I’ve never heard before. The album does hit some soft spots, but picks right back up. The soft spots allow the listener to grasp what the band is saying. Beyond the music the lyrics are special. Pillar comes out with strong emotional words that stick to you. They have great messages throughout. It is well put together and they have come up with something special. None of the songs sound the same. This album hits close to home on many levels. Any rock fan would want thins in their collection.
