What happens to band members after they split up? They find other members of others and form a new band. Never Enough,
which is members of Eighteen Visions and Lylah, has hit the scene with their debut album “1.0.” The album, which
hit stores Dec. 4th of 2007, displays another side of rock including a remake of “Shout,” a track made
famous of Disturbed. With an Industrial/Alternative
feel to the songs, it’s a ride that most haven’t ever been on. The album starts off with a dark and mysterious
sounding track “The Craving.” The second track, “To the Bottom,” demonstrates the programming on the
album. This is a catchy tune that should get airplay on most rock stations. “The Devil I Am,” the third track
is another catchy tune which the band has a video of on their myspace page. “Hush” the sixth song on the album
is a slower, softer track. “Where the Rain” displays more of the special effects and some more dark lyrics. This
is a very good some as everything fits perfectly. The remake of Shout adds a different dimension to the song. The programming
that they added does song justice. Both versions are great, the original and the Never Enough. Overall this is a good album.
The programming is over done in a few spots, but most was used perfectly and “Where the Rain” is an example of
that. The rest of the album was mixed and produced well. Although I don’t believe that album will be a chart topper,
it will hold its own and have a couple of singles that do well.
