Korn has taken another step in their long careers, unfortunately for them
this was a step back. The latest untitled work is lacking of a lot of things except weirdness, which the album defiantly has.
Among everything that has happened to the band in the past few years it is remarkable, and I give them props, that they are
still kicking. With “Head” leaving and David on a hiatus, the band has seen its better days.
J-Davis does change his vocals a bit and they sound better then SUOTOS, Munky has stepped up his guitar play ten-fold and
Fieldy his is good old self.
To the album, it has a lot of lows and very few
highs. The Intro is very good, it reminded me of a start or end of a movie. “Hold On” the fifth song has good
music and great vocals. It is something you can stick in the CD player and jam to. “Kiss” the sixth song is a
slower song, but it is really good. “Love and Luxury” is a very weird but cool track. Finally “I Will Protect
You,” the last track on the album has to be the best. It is a hint of the old Korn.
