Hidden in Plain View comes out with their latest and sadly their last
effort together. “Resolution,” which hit stores July 24th via Drive Thru Records, offers listeners
with the last of new music. This album has highs and lows like any album. They demonstrate why they lasted so long. There
are many big rock numbers mixed with slower songs, but you can’t leave out the popish ones also. This is a pretty solid
finale to a pretty good career. The album really doesn’t hit its stride until track 4. “Heavy Breathing,”
the title, has a great guitar moment and a very nice vocal battle. The 6th song, “Circles,” is an upbeat
track with super clear vocals and again the mix of lead and back vocals are amazing. Track 7, “Out Time,” is one
of the best of the album. It’s easy to get into and it sticks. “Something Needs to Change,” easily the best
track of the album, is a blast of fast drums, backed with incredible guitars. Overall, this is a pretty solid album that has
a few hit singles throughout it. Why don’t you swing by their site and check it out, you won’t be disappointed!
