Finger Eleven headed back to the studios, but wasn’t there long. The studio time for this album was the shortest
they have ever had, three months. The album starts off with a bang. The albums first single Paralyzer starts the album with high powered assault on fans ears. Most of the other songs on the album are upbeat
and energetic. This is an album that will above and beyond when played live. It does slow down a few times, with soft lyrical
masterpieces. The hooks and melody are amazing. Those are set off by sizzling guitar riffs and brilliant drums. The vocals
are clear as bottled spring water. With this album being recorded so fast and from so many locations the mixing on this album
is some of the best. The only flaw that I heard was lead singer Scott Anderson’s voice. For most of the album is had
the same pitch and tones.
All and all this is an amazing album that has to be picked up by all rock fans. It adds that Finger Eleven touch to
your collection. The guys and everyone involved did such a spectacular job on this album and I for one applaud them. And an
additional funny not, the band played hours of Guitar Hero during the recording process…..and a certain singer gave
the guitarist a run for their money!!! Is there anybody who hasn’t played the game?
