Fall Out Boy strikes back. After what many people believe is the biggest band in the world “My Chemical Romance” released their album October 2006, Fall Out Boy hits the scene hard trying give MCR a run for their money. Fall Out Boy pulls out all the stops in Infinity On High. This includes bringing in R&B producer Babyface and dipping in uncharted waters. The album mixes many types of music. It has new sounds mixed with old sounds; R&B mixed with Punk, Pop with everything. Wentz said about working with Babyface “We love his approach to melody.” He also said “Patrick will sing with a greater range and more soul in our new songs and we wanted to find someone to drive that.” This album is solid. The vocals are strong and clear. The sound quality on the album is amazing. The songs are upbeat and catchy. This album is a Musical Buffet! So I recommend picking this up. The only thing I didn’t like about it was the super long titles to the songs.
