Eleventyseven

Eleventyseven, which is made up of Matthew Langston (lead vocals, guitar), Celeb Satterfield (bass), and Jonathan Stephens (drums), are putting out their own sound. With their upcoming release “Eleventyseven And the Land of Fake Believe” and a spot on the “This is Your Anthem” tour, they will rock your socks off. They have a punk rock sound, but with a Christian rock lyrical trend (in some of the songs). The first time I heard the guys on Myspace, I immediately though of Green Day and Blink 182. They sing the truth about today’s society, young romance and finding your identity. You will find yourself connecting to almost every song, that’s where all the honesty comes into play.  Their first single off the upcoming album “More Than a Revolution” has come with great success.  More and more radio stations have been picking up this song in the past weeks and it’s a personal favorite of mine.

The Album is due in stores late March and should make a big splash there.  The album has an up-tempo beat, but the songs don’t sound like each other.  This is a very unique album, but at the same time a very great showing of the power that music can distribute to the listeners. Without myspace (which ironically is a title of one of the songs) I may have never listen to the guys from South Carolina.  I am glad that I stumbled upon their music and I encourage everyone to pick up this album.  They have a lot to offer to fans of any rock genre. The lyrics will touch your heart even if you don’t like the sound.
