Drowning Pool
Full Circle

Drowning Pool comes storming back their third album, “Full Circle.”
A new frontman and a new attitude are etched in this ear pounding experience. Ryan McCombs brings something back that the
band was missing the last album. He may not be a perfect match to the originals, but he’s defiantly a keeping and should
keep Drowning Pool afloat in the industry. Now with, what should be a permanent frontman; Drowning Pool can focus on the music
and not finding new people. “Full Circle”
starts off with the title track. It is an amazing explosion of energy. I absolutely love this song and can’t wait to
blare it going down the road. “Enemy,” the second track, is a fast paced song with fast guitars, fast drums and
very nice vocals. The Sixth song of the album, “Soldiers,” is a hard, heavy, mind-blowing track. All you have
to do is put it in, crank it up and enjoy! The backend of the album (9, 10, 11, 12, and 13) is the strength of the album.
Track 9, “37 Stitches,” offers the listeners some very cool vocals. “No More,” the very next song,
displays the energy and power that you expect that Drowning Pool would present the entire time they are playing. “Love
X2” has great guitars and more of that DP energy. The last track of the album is a cover of “Rebel Yell,”
is defiantly different, but a good different. It gives you a new outlook on an old song. Overall this is a pretty good album.
It has its ups and downs, but its solid.
