Darker My Love

Tim Presley-Vocals, Guitar

Rob Barbato-Vocals, Bass

Jared Everett-Guitar

Andy Granelli-Drums

Darker My Love is considered soul, but I have them labeled as soulful rock. The album consists of great music and a mysterical voice. It gives the album a feeling that you are being talked to from above. They have a great musical sound to every song on the album. It is well mixed and produced.  This band is not short on their musical ability.  The drums set up a very dramatic sound that the guitars and bass add to it.  This album sets that soulful mood and is easy to listen to.  The opening of the album shows of the guitars with just a little bit of a chant. The second track picks up the pace, but adds that mysterical voice again. The sixth track gives you more of the drums than another track.

This album is 40 minutes. Although the music is great I’m not sold on the vocals. I believe they were set to sound the way they do, but they don’t jump out at me.
