The second try of a solo career for Chris Cornell has a wide variety of songs. If you are expecting sounds like a Soundgarden or Audioslave you will be somewhat disappointed, but this album a chance. Although it displays a few sounds like those to stellar bands, this album give shows the range of Chris Cornell’s voice and artistic ability. With many different artists playing with Chris on many songs, each song has its own personality. The fellow artists give their own expressions to the songs they play in. Overall this album hits many strides. Cornell shows his passion and love of all genres in this album. It is plan to see that he is one of the best artists of at least my lifetime. For the most part the lyrics are good, but some are weird. The music itself is descent, with many different sounds coming in and out during the course of the album. The bulk of this album is slow, low key songs that seem to stick in your head even if you don’t want it to. This is an okay album and you must at least check out this album online. All Chris Cornell fans must have this album….
